It was Pittsburgh, and they said yes until the city of Pittsburgh said no.

Now the Orioles have said they can share their stadium, but the city of Baltimore has to approve it.

book marked for him ^ confidently stating that “there will never be a vaccine that will be effective”
now, if he had said SARS-CoV-2 will never be eradicated, that, although sobering, is a distinct possibility

he should really study up as to why at least one candidate – https://covid-19tracker.milkeninstit...vaccines_intro
has qualified to have been fast tracked by the FDA

Quote:
The United States surpassed 4 million officially recorded Covid-19 cases on Thursday, with 4,005,414 cases, according to Johns Hopkins University.
[Previous version, published at 1:53 p.m. ET]
The United States is expected to surpass 4 million officially recorded Covid-19 cases Thursday -- and a quarter of that count will have come in just the last 15 days.
The country's rising daily rate of confirmed coronavirus cases, along with a near-record number of hospitalizations, signals the US is far from containing a virus that is straining hospitals and labs, health experts say.
"We've rolled back essentially two months' worth of progress with what we're seeing in number of cases ... in the United States," Dr. Ali Khan, dean of the University of Nebraska Medical Center's College of Public Health, told CNN on Thursday.

How many movies in the future do you guys think will feature Coronavirus as part of the plot? It’s a historical event now.

It all comes down to R if they are holding R at 1 or slightly above 1 and they want to open something else up like schools then the only way to maintain R is to close something else down to counter act the rise from schools.

Its why this partial reopening thing is pretty stupid imo If you have 100k cases and you hold R at 1 you always have 100k cases everyday and you can never open up more then you currently are. Its the worst possible path you could choose thats good for nobody really. you get a crippled economy that can never fully reopen and tons of death, its basically awful on every level and doing it this way means its neverending.

I'm a little relieved that the R number in Ireland went down to between 1.1 & 1.4 since today.

I'm also seeing a lot more people around me wearing face masks/head visors in my local supermarkets while I did a small bit of food & medicine shopping over the past few days. It was very strong compliance while I was going around my Dunnes Stores supermarket today which is great to see. I also seen two young girls wearing face masks outside that supermarket among their young non-masked friends which was also great to see today.

We're way down there at 36th, which still isn't good but our fake Democrat governor is acting like we're the worst in the country. New governor, please.

a sad day for us all
completely neglecting this study - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...n#post17874292
to be published in the October issue of its own journal – https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/

the CDC being pressured and relenting into watering down its original guidelines with regards to school openings, comes out today with new softer recommendations and in so doing has lost its independence

I can't believe we-re re-opening schools here after Labor Day. If it's not safe to re-open movie theatres and restaurants, it's certainly not safe to re-open schools.

Agree.

That said, every kid on my block I've seen is busy playing with other kids - no social distancing.

So really, what's the f**king difference? Might as well get an education while they're incubating disease...
