So what you guys haven't noticed anything you don't miss? Some of them are easy like how my roundtrip commute went from 1 and half hours of driving a day to like 20 or 30 mins. Or the improvement in air quality around the world. Covid probably did more to stop global warming then governments would have been willing to do in a decade.

Its easy to name stuff you do miss but upon reflection their should be some stuff you noticed you don't miss.

Not only am I humiliated, but I'm so angry at myself. How could I have forgotten that we are in a pandemic???
Oh man, I did it again today. I left my apartment again without a mask. This time I didn’t realize until I got down to the lobby where my doorman saw me. So I quickly ran back into the elevator and went back up to my apartment to get my mask. Luckily no one was in the elevator. But the fact that my doorman saw me! How embarrassing!

I am so stupid! Why do I keep making this mistake over and over???? Grrrrr!

Ya I definitely don't miss having to go into work anymore...been told company isn't going to look at people going back until next year at earliest - and then in some sort of staggered fashion with permanent working from home an option for some people.

Sorry, just can't come up with any change that resulted from CV-19 that I don't miss. Can list a dozen I do miss along with changes I dislike as a result of it.

traffic is basically the same where im at.... in the very beginning it was less but now...back to the normal commute....

i cant really come up with any positives...actually, just thought of one while typing..... single rider golf carts.....love that! so, hope that stays for the long haul lol....

edit: also love that restaurants have gotten creative with outdoor seating areas. that was one of my biggest complaints in my area before covid was the lack of places to eat with outdoor seating...now, almost everywhere has outdoor seating

Went to Burger King for dinner tonite. We were the only ones in the dining room. Got there at 4:45PM. Nice to sit down to a meal I haven't cooked. Only the second time since March. Plan on going again Saturday.

I envy people whose working from home experience has been like a vacation. For me, I'm actually working when I'm at home because I have things to do and if none of it gets done, I'd get in trouble. For my uncle, he says working for home has been like an endless vacation for him.

I guess I should be grateful that these stores have them in stock now. Honestly, I'd rather there be $6 hand sanitizers than no sanitizers at all. The problem is, people were abusing it before when they were cheap. Too many people were buying unnecessary quantities and stores were completely sold out for a long period of time.
Or you know, just buy soap for a fraction of the price that is several times more effective. There's enough sanitizer stations around in buildings that carrying portable sanitizer bottles on you isn't really necessary.

Plus, the sanitizer available now in stores smells like Pepe Le Pew cut one on your hands.

Sorry, but 'Burger King' doesn't belong in the same sentence as 'dining room'...

Glad that you got out to eat though.

I used one of the hand sanitizers at the store last week and it really smelled bad!! After that, I swore to use my own hand sanitizer going forward.

This might be specific to California, but most of the restaurants, grocery stores, and other stores shut off access to their bathrooms and water fountains. And the only place I've seen a sanitizer station was a doctor's office (probably only to be used by the employees.)

A Starbucks nearby had chairs and tables blocking access to the bathrooms because I guess people tried to use them.

The tourist town that I’m currently in, all of the restaurants and shops have sanitizer at the entrance and One of my travelling companions started to refuse to put it on. I told her that she should be using it, but she still refused.
While waiting in line at Starbucks, a couple of teenagers were ignorant of the big decals on the floor and were too close to the older couple ahead of them. The older couple tried cold stares, but the teenagers were oblivious, so the older couple left.

Every single day my mind is boggled by the ignorance of people.

That's insanity. What are you supposed to do, hold it all day when you leave your house?
