Stores here in Canada have started limiting paper products to 2 per customer.
Last week at the grocery store, only toilet paper was sold out. Today I noticed the facial tissues and paper towels are totally gone, too.

I also noticed the fresh meat section was nearly empty, which surprised me. I would have expected the frozen stuff to go first, but there was still lots of that. Canned foods and especially evaporated/condensed milk were quite picked through.

Right now I only have three films on my radar to purchase this year:

Dawn of the Dead & Martin from Second Sight

and King Creole...my favorite Elvis film.

I work around a lot of coworkers and customers and always wash my hands/sanitizer.

I'm to the point where I am just freaking myself out and need to calm down and realize you know what we're all going to die at some point, I've made peace with my maker, am a believer....and I need to trust that I am going to be okay the only thing that bothers me the most is that I get this and I infect those around me that I love and care about and that scares me and worries me the most and I keep apologizing to them that I am truly sorry and that I am doing my best to keep living my life, working and earning my way through it, the best that I can...stay safe everyone.

Much love to you all.

Gotcha. I have a government job, and I am able to telework for the most part right now, but the rug might get pulled out from under me in the long run when my place of employment is affected by the lack of tax revenue.

During all my days of collecting movies and music, I have been well aware that this hobby might have to stop abruptly under unforeseen circumstances. This could be one such circumstance, and I’m accepting of that.

I don't see why I should stop buying online. It's not like I spend a ton of money per month (I always try to limit myself to 150-180 dollars). I'll stop only if shipping and postal services are suspended.

Yeah, I'm cutting down. I have enough money saved to live over a year, but I'd rather have more in case the call center closes.

I'm not holding off on purpose, I don't have anything coming up that I wanted to buy (except Attack on Titan s3v2 and Jumanji on pre-order and I kept those). All my March purchases were the previous two Tuesdays, so that money's gone now... but I'd have probably stopped buying stuff just to be sure, but thankfully I wasn't going to get anything right away anyway. The only other thing for March was Star Wars but I decided I'm not going to bother trying to get slipcovers for those because I couldn't get them all at once even if this crap hadn't gone down lol

I'm keeping my The Good Place pre-order though, at least for now. Want to keep that pre-order price locked.

I've gotten lucky - while the Microsoft campus has closed, working from home is totally an option for me. So business as usual at Casa El Fez.

Well, aside from Pants Optional Friday is now Pants Optional March.

How would a mandatory nation-wide quarantine work? Is it even possible to keep over 350 million people inside their homes at all times? Especially without retaliation? All this talk about one sounds dumber and dumber the more I hear it.

We'll see with San Francisco and the Bay area.

May have to deploy the national guard and military. Its mostly up to the states and local governments anyway.

It's not that kind of lockdown in the Bay Area. People can still move around freely, go to work, the store, even out for a jog or work. Housing construction will continue. The freeways won't be empty.

Yeah, I have some Paypal fundage from recent digital copy sales earmarked for both of those. Those might be my last major movie purchases in the foreseeable future. I still have my job (grocery store, which probably won't get shut down except if it gets REALLY dire ), and have access to enough food to keep me going for a while.

It seems to me like these a-holes from China who always bring this shit to the rest of the world to bring us to the brink of extinction.

Hello Fresh is another option to consider. I reactivated my subscription last night.

Yikes - this could be interesting. Theaters are always on the edge anyway and shutting down for X weeks along with Universal's "Here are some new releases that we are putting out for streaming instead" could be a paradigm shift.

For all you know, the sender was infected. Or the mailman.

All the theatres in my location have closed down. It’s a grim future for theatres.
