We will overcome this, I will take time though.
Yes, we should be concerned (I'm most concerned for my parents who are both over 70 and live upstairs) and alert, but the way folks are panicking, stress, etc. could kill more than the virus itself.

Each new day is a gift, cherish it, and make every one count.
I still will go out to get food and essential goods for my family.

Stay safe everyone.

"Amazon is now prioritizing medical supplies, household staples, and other high-demand products to its warehouses until April 5."

"The change only affects shipments to Amazon's warehouses, not the last-mile deliveries to consumers."

"On Tuesday the company told sellers and vendors that it would accept only shipments of "household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products" to its warehouse until April 5 to deal with the high demand of those products amid the coronavirus crisis.

That means sellers who use Amazon's storage and delivery network for a fixed fee, through a program called Fulfillment by Amazon, will no longer be able to ship nonessential products to Amazon. The same restrictions apply to vendors who wholesale their products to Amazon, who then resells them at a markup.

It doesn't affect last-mile shipments of those products to consumers.

Amazon said in an email to sellers that it was now prioritizing shipment in the following six categories: baby product; health and household (including personal-care appliances); beauty and personal care; grocery; industrial and scientific; pet supplies.

"We are seeing increased online shopping, and as a result some products such as household staples and medical supplies are out of stock," the email obtained by Business Insider said. "With this in mind, we are temporarily prioritizing household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products coming into our fulfillment centers so that we can more quickly receive, restock, and deliver these products to customers.""
I've seen different things being reported on different sites. I'm not sure what to make of it. Has it been confirmed that it's only 3rd party sellers? I was under the impression it was all merchandise, including 3rd party sellers.

From the reports I seen it will mainly effect 3rd part sellers that use Amazon as a warehouse. I believe Amazon said that if it is in stock it'll ship. But as you said I guess if it isn't in stock; like say a movie you want then you might be sol for the time being. I know that everything I have ordered so from from Amazon has or is in the process of shipping.

Its ok right now is pretty crazy. Everyone is going to have ups and downs and deal with what's going on some days better than others.

I had to go grocery shopping yesterday because where I am at store pick up and delivery at all the local places are booked for awhile. I did wear gloves during the whole thing and then got home and was like "what about all the people that might of touched these things, now what?" So I misted everything with disinfectant before putting it away. It was so weird I can't explain it.

I do have to ask though. How many of you are actually ready in the event that shtf? Do you have any training in firearms, wildness survival, hunting, cleaning and preparing game? If not then I strongly recommend you look into these things. How to treat water and things like starting fires without matches and lighters. Basic things like this are always good to know regardless of if things get bad.
Remember you don't have to be in the woods or country to learn how to do these things. Reading or watching videos on YT is always a start.

Why aren't healthcare workers getting hazard pay during this time? My wife's an RN, and often works in the emergency room at a local city hospital. They have officially ran out of respiratory masks so its only a matter of time before she contracts this virus and spreads it to my 9 yr old daughter and myself.

I can confirm that it’s products sold by Amazon as well. I just got done talking to them after I got an email about my copy of Animal Crossing being delayed. They said there are supply issues and I’ve been put on a list based on pre-order date.

part of the beauty of growing up in WI. I've been fishing since I was 5 years old. been hunting since I was 11. been cleaning game since I was 13. once my dad showed me how to do it, he took a back seat and made me do it anytime we got a deer each hunting season.

not sure if it was his way of getting out of it or not.

Most people don't know how to change a spare tire, let alone live off of wilderness. If we're counting on city people (myself most definitely included) to fend for themselves, the local news and CNN will go from covering the election and coronavirus to covering flipped-over cars on fire and broken retail store glass.

I’m guessing most people never took drivers ed in High school? One of the things they taught us was how to change a tire and how to check the oil level. I don’t even have a car (or a license) and yet I know how to change a tire.

What year (approximately) did you take driver's ed in high school? We don't even require parallel parking in California drivers tests anymore.

Around my time too. In our high school, driver's ed wasn't a requirement it was an elective. I think they eliminated high school driver's ed classes and passed it off to private training.

After seeing how so many people intentionally ignore the recommended precautions and social distancing without a care in the world, it's become very apparent that a large part of the population are total degenerates.

Same, it was an elective. But I think if you wanted to get a license before age 18 the state required it, I didn't turn 18 until November that year and didn’t want to wait the extra few months. In the end it didn't really matter, I still don’t have a license. It’s cheaper this way, no car insurance, maintenance fees, or paying for gasoline.
