There's been some review floating around of the film from last year, it was an unfinished version, but so far it's been highly praised.

You should check out some of the trailers, they'll mess you up (the red band ones for sure)

I've been looking forward to this film since it was in pre-production, it's a film MADE for me.

It might as well had been called Foggy-ass, but that wouldn't get anyone watching

i just watched the red band trailer for this movie......1st trailer i've paid attn. to for it actually and it doesn't look too bad. probably won't go to the theater but i may grab it on blu when it's released.

The books have been VERY popular. I read a review on the last issue of the first story arc (the movie) and they said it wrapped up too fast, but I think that has more to do with the fact that the book was so delayed all the time. If you were to read it all together it fits nicely.

Aparantly, it was going to be Aaron Johnson (Kick-ass) playing Red Mist, and Mclovin playing kick-ass. But they thought it would work out better if the son of a mobster boss was such a dork to go out being a superhero, and Kick-Ass be an average teenager.

New Character Poster

Looks to be continuing the Watchmen kind of theme!

Debuted by GeekTyrant, one of the pictures has four major characters in their original appearances, giving a look at Chris D'Amico, the boy under Red Mist's mask. In the said photo, he is featured alongside Dave Lizewski, Damon Macready and Mindy Macready, all without their superhero costumes.

In another picture, the foursome is shown together while becoming their alter egos. Later, Kick-Ass, Hit Girl, Big Daddy as well as Red Mist are featured individually in the other fresh images which also have a tag of the film's U.S. release date, which is April 16.

Adapted from a comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., "Kick-Ass" follows the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski who decides to take his comic-book obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. Assembling green-colored suit and mask to wear, he opts to be called Kick-Ass and gets to work fighting crime.

As a superhero wannabe, Kick-Ass actually has no superpower. However, his life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes.

Aaron Johnson stars as the titular character while Chloe Moretz plays 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo Hit Girl. Big Daddy and Red Mist, in the meantime, are played by Nicolas Cage and Christopher Mintz-Plasse respectively. Mark Strong additionally joins the cast to play antagonist Frank D'Amico. Matthew Vaughn is the man behind the camera for this action adventure movie.
