But in all seriousness, does it look any less outlandish than a guy in a Rhino suit. And I mean an actual suit, not that half-assed Mech nonsense. Also, the whole purple look only really comes from the weird tint the right pic has. The left one looks fine and grey. And the overall face looks well integrated with the rest unlike say Corey Stall getting CTRL-Vd on a CG model.

It was funny when it was Apocalypse and it is funny now. Loosen up it is not serious.

Everyone tries to bring up Ivan Ooze as an insult when it was practical effects done right. He still looks good to this day. The CGI Ninja Megazord on the other hand....

More people should realize the brilliance of Toku.

Anyway, I saw Kraven last night as well. It's certainly better than Madame Web. Not a high bar to clear though. I thought it was ok. 5/10 feels right. Main issues are that it's too long and the dialogue wasn't great. I thought Rhino's CGI looked fine for what we got. He should have been taller though.

This is part of the problem with the look of Rhino. Not just the appearance but his size. He should be much larger then Kraven.

I went in thinking it would be another Madame Web or Morbius, I haven't seen both yet, so I couldn't compare, but if this is the trilogy of bad Sony/Marvel movies this probably will rank as the number one of the three.
Russell Crowe's heavy voice with Russian accent was fantastic and the first half was kind of interesting, but overly long... as was the movie. They should have chopped off 20-25 minutes of this.

And it was good to see Pollux Troy again in a major blockbuster

Can't say much about the movie, only to think of this as generic stuff. I'll probably won't watch this again... ever.

The bad visual effects and ADR that people bring up with Madame Web are even worse here, and unlike the other spin offs which tended to be short and campy at least, this often seems to try and go for a more serious tone for some reason, and is too long with some awful pacing (the big flashback/origin after the opening seems to go on forever, and it has like 4 endings after the action wraps up). The acting was awful too, surprising given the cast and how good the director was with actors before. The R rating is cool, but honestly the violence still doesn’t have great impact and the coolest kills are cut away from really fast.

I saw Kraven the Hunter today in Dolby Cinema. What a dumpster fire. Sony is in a race with itself to make the worst comic-book movies. How is it possible these are so bad? It’s like the scripts are out of the 90’s and they got the worst actors possible. Rhino was laughably bad. I genuinely would rather have had TASM Rhino back.

I don’t know anything about this character and still don’t. The only interesting character was The Foreigner and he was ended in a lazy way.

How can Sony make the SM1/2, TASM 1 & this? Venom 1 had to simply be a fluke (Wasn’t great but was fun).

Just mediocre in every single area. I also kinda noticed these Sony movies visually look like each other. The color grading or something.

I still think the worst ‘comic-book’ movie this year is Joker 2, simply because of how drastic the decrease was from the first one, but these Sony movies are just horrible.

The absolute best part of this theater experience had to be the first time I’ve ever had flawless timing. Saw 2 movies today and sat down in each one about 10 seconds before the very first frame. Zero trailers or any other nonsense in either show. Excellent.
