You guys definitely don't want to wait if you are looking to get a steelbook. My store is only getting 60 total between BD and 4K and that is compared to the 700 copies we are getting for the non-steelbook versions. My store is on the large side so a lot are going to get even less then that.

They obviously ordered the steelbooks long before they knew it was going to be a major hit in theaters.

Yuuup. That's was actually a pretty common amount 3-4 years ago for most blockbusters before physical media started to slow down. Now we're lucky to get more than 150 of most things.

My bet it was just far louder. IMAX being IMAX and turning things to 11.
The mixers aren't going to radically change the soundfield.

no, they (IMAX) remixed it, considering they make us of the height center speaker: when Ultron talked his voice does this tremendous filling up of the screen and making use of said speaker. Having heard both mixes, the 12-channel mix also is far more active in the surround channels than what was heard in the Atmos mix.

It seems that Thor Ragnarok has a much deeper bass than this. Thor works my bass and this seems a bit weaker. Even though I found a online copy to watch in the meantime I’m still keeping my preorder. BTW what’s the main difference if any between TrueHD 7.1 and DTS-HD 7.1?
