I saw the movie yesterday in 3D, the movie was definitely a 8/10, slightly more maybe. But the 3D was surprisingly well used. I might have to double dip on this one for 3D+4k, anyone know if any region might do that?

What movies would you compare it to?

I saw it in IMAX and they weren't even offering it in IMAX 3D. Weird. Gues they'll do the same for Infinity War.

both IMAX-laser theaters in the Washington DC area are showing this in 3D and from what I saw in trailer form, the 3D is amazing - one of Marvel's best conversions.

Nothing listed so far but I wouldn't expect to see a 4K/3D combo pack except from France or even more possibly Japan. Maybe some premium releases down the road as well.

I saw this in IMAX 3D as well last night up in Washington state. Seems most IMAX theaters here have at least one 3D showing per day listed.
I'm certain for those that aren't 3D capable this will look amazing in 4K but there were so many great IMAX expanded shots that were stunning. I recommend seeing this in IMAX if you can while you have the chance to.

Found this one pretty boring and it did nothing for me. But I suppose I just prefer the sillier, more sarcastic characters like Deadpool and Ant Man. Reception seemed to be very positive though and so I do want to give it another try at some point. This was pretty much a 'date night' movie to please the gal and on that front it succeeded.

Love the artwork on the Best Buy SteelBook. Got the UHD version on pre-order along with the UK 3D Blu-ray. Looking forward to seeing this film on Saturday!

My theater has slowly been switching it's IMAX 3D showings into 2D. Studios have been doing that too. Although my IMAX is one of last few TRUE IMAX theaters and not LIEMAX like a bunch of them.

I'm really considering only seeing it at home. What with a nice 4k TV and I finally have enough speakers for a 5.1.2 audio setup I can have movie theater night at home!

If I can get a 75in Sony ZD9 and a Atmos system I probably would stay home and watch movies exclusively. But I'm buying too many damn movies to save up for those lol
