Amazon France ones are up with NO 4K/3D/BD combo, but they do have an Amazon Exclusive which looks like a bust of the Black Panther.

As someone that isn't amazed by the more recent MCU movies, this is a Day One purchase for me. I might like this movie more than The Winter Soldier.

I just preordered the Zaavi 3D/ Shirt combo. I also plan to buy the Best Buy 4k Steel box. I was planning on leaving Steels alone BUT I LOVED THIS MOVIE!

I plan to see this one later today, but from my friends that have already seen it I think I'll go ahead and order the BB Steelbook now.

Without discussing detail, having been skeptical of the hype, I came out of this film last night a believer. I get it now.
This film has the potential to be the most important UHD release yet, its the biggest new film that will release in UHD yet (because they haven't been releasing the new star wars movies in UHD yet, or those would be.)

3D will always be the best most immersive format to see Marvel on, GOTG2 hands down won on 3D vs the 4K which disappointed me

I think it’s down to display. I have a 75” LG G6 OLED and Oppo203. I dont understand why the likes of doctor strange 3D would be considered to be viewed any other way, unless lacklustre 3D setups ruin the experience. The only exception I have withneesed so far was Blade Runner 2049 which is superior in 4K

At least until Marvel starts giving all their movies 4k DIs and including dolby vision and IMAX ratios on the disc then the 4k disc will be better

But yes for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 the 3D disc is the best edition of the movie

The only movie that really loses something without 3D, to the point of being a lesser movie, is Gravity. Everything else, I'd take 4K over 3D.

Lot of movies were made for 3D but I still prefer the 2D and/or 4K versions. Even stuff like Prometheus and Transformers and Life of Pi, which all feature brilliant 3D. (Also not a huge fan of Hugo anyway.)

Seeing Avatar in 3D at Best Buy got me to purchase a 3D tv later that year when it was time to replace my old Plasma.

Nah it's just as good in 2D. And it will melt eyeballs on UHD.

4K>the better 3D transfers (Prometheus, Avatar, etc.)>2D (1080p)>the crap 3D transfers (Predator)

Get this 3D talk up out of here. I hate it. [emoji23]

Will be interesting to see this in 4K. I noticed some of the establishment shots being out of focus, but I saw it on an IMAX screen so who knows.

3D is gimmicky trash. Feels good knowing that fewer and fewer TVs are supporting it and that the format is dying.
