I hope Leprechaun 2 has it's color timing corrected for the blu ray release (everything looks muted). I compared it to the DVD version and the DVD looks perfect (colorwise).

I emailed Lions Gate last year about the issue but didn't recieve a reply.

Yeah they botched some of the transfers on the iTunes versions. None of them are true widescreen, they punched in on all the films that have previously only been available in full screen. I don't even think new masters were used, I think they took the 2k scan from the DVDs and enhanced the clarity. And Leprechaun 4's color timing was horrendous on the iTunes version. All the cave/alien planet stuff in the beginning is blue. Like they just slapped a filter over it and called it a day.

For the last year I've been making my own blu ray discs for these films but I might quit now depending on the transfers and menus. The features are very enticing but I wonder why there's no Warwick Davis commentaries. I hope they really go all out for this release.

Considering that the slipcover says "Blu Ray + Digital HD" and since the movies are readily available on vudu, flixster and iTunes I'm thinking it's pretty safe to assume all the films will be coming with some sort of digital copy or another.

for some reason this set is making me giddy with joy. I love giant horror boxsets and this one along with the Halloween set are my two most wanted sets so far this year

Friday the 13th is my most wanted, but i'm skipping it because of the garbage packaging and rated cut of my favorite movie in the set (JGTH).

yeah, that's another fantastic set. I got that one already so it's just down to these two right now. That Halloween set is going to make my wallet hurt for sure

I'm glad to see Amazon's pre-order link is finally up. I just got my pre-order in. It's a pretty attractive price. I can't wait to get some friends together to watch these!

I remember seeing these back in the day, Maybe the first 3 but the first one for sure. The best that came out of the very first one was Jennifer Aniston. That was a few years before she made it big on Friends. It was also a time when she was totally hot

. Will these be sold individually or as a box set only? The first one would be the only one I would be interested in.

Box set only. Each disc will have two movies on it, with the exception of the new movie, since it's also being sold separately.

I watched this again the other night and I have to agree that Jennifer Aniston is smoking in this flick. I pretty much never think she's that good looking, but it's a different story in this one.

The Leprechaun make up is still really fantastic.

I watched it the other day and was surprised to see that she was basically the Jennifer Anniston we know. She was cute, goofy and charming which is not what I was expecting or remembered. Cheesy movie, but not horrible.

Now....is the new one available online anywhere yet?
