HD Transfers of all the Wishmaster Films already exist, but as is sadly typical in this day and age, their doesn't seem to be any plan for them to be released on Blu Ray any time soon. I agree though that both Franchises Deserve box sets, and I would jump on both in a heartbeat.

I predict at least the first two wishmaster films to be released in the next while. They are considered to be cult classics. With the releases of other films around the same time period starting to emerge, I'd say it's only a matter of time.

I honestly never thought we'd see the Leprechaun series on blu-ray. The DVDs were pretty lackluster and most were released in full frame. I think it would be great if the Wishmaster series gets a release, but I think they're with Lion's Gate.

I certainly didn't see it coming, but I'm excited for it. especially considering the price

Yeah, I'm guessing the only way we'll get Wishmaster on BD is if they do a remake.

A buddy of mine and I have decided to make this box set an event. We're calling it Leptember (patent pending) and it will basically be an entire day of Irish celebration. We're gonna try and watch all of them but if we make it to part 4, we'll be happy.

My thoughts are you may want to order Candyman overseas and buy part 2 in early 2015 (released by Scream Factory)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Candyman-Blu...ndyman+blu+ray

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Candy...lu-ray/109616/

Then you'll at least have those two in HD.

Fingers crossed for Wishmaster news.

You're welcome! Picture quality is very decent on the bluray.
I'm hoping the Leprechaun films look good as well. My guess is that they will look good to great but won't reach the mark of excellence. Just going off of previous Lionsgate catalogue titles. I can't wait for this! Leprechaun 3 is pure cheese gold! The magic show scene with the chainsaw is the highlight for me.

The leprechaun films will all look better than the UK release of candyman. The candyman release while OK, had print damage and was quite flat. All the leprechaun films have been available as digital downloads for some time and all of them look much better than candyman did/does.

I've never seen any of the Leprechaun films. Are they blind buy material? Horror or straight camp? How would you sell me on seeing/buying these?

Watch the trailers on Youtube. They're definitely horror comedies with more goodfyness than you could imagine. I think they're fun films for the most part and find them funny. If you like horror comedies and can find the set cheap I'd say blind buy it.
