yes it was, but to be clear in the teaser trailer, Tom was flying (as a passenger) in the back seat, with the aviator on the left being the pilot doing the actual flying (driving) –

because civilians (exception being experienced (such as test pilots with secret clearance, e.g. - https://www.lockheedmartinjobs.com/j...codes=1-INDEED )
are not allowed to first pilot militarized fighter jets.

b.t.w., speaking of action teaser trailers, Stefan (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0814406/ ) colored the trailer for Season 2 of TCJR –

Samsung reportedly shifting production of LCD TVs to OLED TVs

Samsung Display has shut down operations at one of its LCD TV production lines as part of 'Project C', which involves a gradual shift to OLED TV mass production, according to a report by The Elec. It is expected to shut down its entire LCD TV production in South Korea.

After months of rumors, Samsung may have given its so-called 'Project C' the green light. In October 2018, the CEO of Samsung Display acknowledged that it was developed 'QD-OLED' technology. Project C is an investment plan to achieve mass production of OLED TVs.

Geez, Robert certainly gets around on AV consumer social media. I didn’t know that forum even existed. Good to see a news editor from the Baltimore/Washington metro area.

As you can see ^, there are awards given out for that important aspect of a production, e.g. the Sixth Annual LMGI Awards will be held on September 21 at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica (Productions that were first released between January 1, 2018, and May 31, 2019 were eligible among the 100 submissions for all categories [feature films, TV series, commercials).

Here are the final nominees for feature films and some commercials….

Holy sh*t, Batman! That's some crazy talk. Samsung would shutdown all their LCD lines. What an accounting/financial write-down that will be.

If they go all OLED for consumer displays, wonder how development will proceed on Mini-LED and/or Micro-LED, seeing as they already have Micro commercial displays in venues? I personally have been doubting the long term survival of Organic LED.

Samsung is a funny company, we have to admit.
They have some good products (tablets, phones), they had too (the good plasma years).
And there's QLED HDR.

Smart move going OLED (where the $$$ is).
Maverick should be proud.

Samsung Display has 2 LCD two lines in S. Korea and one in China. IF . . . they shut the two down in S. Korea to switch over to OLED, they will still have the one in China.

There is a major oversupply and worsening profitability for LCD TVs. LG Display is also feeling the hurt. They already converted an LCD line to OLED. One of their main products, 50-inch TV LCDs, slid as much as 7.5% in April-June versus the same period last year.

I guess all eyes are on TCL and it's Mini LED backlite LCD TV.
