it's for Czech republic, eastern europe, but probably date is for whole EUROPE.., I think it can be worldwide event, so probably same date for US

but i would prefer one with branching like Spiderman 2/2.1 BD
so that when i have time to watch the extendeds i can, but if i dont i can watch just the theatrical

I enjoy both versions. I don't really view either one as the 'definitive version.' I very well may double-dip on these.

After watching both versions i think i might wait for the extended cut. Some movies don't really add anything with the extra scenes but Lord Of The Rings is the exception imo. The extended scenes add a lot to the story.

I've only seen the extended versions, so for me if they only released the theatrical version, it would be like seeing the movies edited for TV. In other words, I'll only buy the extended versions.

reading here thats the date we will have the trilogy on bluray. Now would be interesting to know how these guy know that...(i.e. if is it true or not)
