Yeah, some scenes look sharp but most don't.

i've actually watched the 1st 2 extendeds the last couple weekends while working on business stuff in my basement. they really are great, which they weren't delayed!!

Actually, I finished Two Towers yesterday and started Return and they upscale way better than Fellowship.
Both movies looked a lot better than the first one and I loved the grainy texture of Two Towers.

I'm guessing, that if they left it up, it would cause a lot of angry calls to their CS dept. when they don't ship it this year.

came with a flyer announcing LOTR trilogy on 11/03/09.

Those were probably made and inserted before the recent news that it was pushed back into 2010. In fact, that was the original release date.

Dont get your hopes up- just a timing issue.

Oh it's coming out on Nov. 3rd, remember the BDA said this year the flood gates are gonna open.....ohhhhh yeah, nevermind it's just gonna be a trickle. You won't be watching this until next year if even then. I've grown so accustomed to these big titles like this being pushed back it almost doesn't even phase me anymore. By the time Star Wars comes out we will be a year or two away from yet another format already.

That's because those were pressed and shipped before LOTR was delayed. Duh.
