I just finished The Silmarillion .....too bad the first 2/3rds of the book were not written like the last 1/3. Regardless, it sure had helped me to round out my vision and understanding of the things unseen in the LOrd of the Ring sotry and movie and as to why and how they played out like they did. Now, I want to read the Lord of the Rings before the movies come out!!

Grand Bob has set up a LOTR social group and the members are gonna start reading the book a chapter at a time and then discuss it.

Oh my oh my... now because of you and Grand Bob... I'm probably going to go to my local half priced books tomorrow and pick up a copy of the hobbit and The Silmarillion... After I reread the Hobbit and LotR again, I might attempt it... Thanks A LOT guys

If someone mentioned that they had there screener does this mean they have a copy in for review? Or am i completely wrong?

Usually review sites get retail copies to review.

Better deal than Amazon.com, I might buy it even though I was never too interested in the theatrical version yet at the same time I really don't want to wait a whole year for the extended so I'll probably double dip

Not too bothered about special features since I've got everything I need in my EE DVDs

Shame Amazon.ca doesn't have the same prices as .com for their Toy Story blurays so I wouldn't have to pay for international shipping twice
