I think for me it'll be Mines of Moria and Helm's Deep. Two of my favorite scenes of any movies ever.

The bird's eye view of Gondor (is that the white city?) is pretty awesome too.

I can't wait to see...Return of the King....just the whole thing
My favorite movie + finally in blu =

I love every scene in the movie, but two of my particular favorites is when Elrond gives Aragorn his sword and when he tells the army of the dead, "You will suffer me!"

Minas Tirith is the city (I probably spelled that wrong).

Minas Tirith is the white city, Gondor is the land it is in.

The opening sequence is one of my favorites. I don't think anyone could have depicted the Shire better than Jackson did.

My favourite scene is the moment where the fellowship pass through the two huge statues on the river in Fellowship. For me it solidified the huge nature of the films, and built up my expectations for the films that followed. I also really love the opening prologue to Fellowship too.

I am looking forward to the scenes from the Council of Elrond....I am hoping that Rivendell looks awesome.

In the pre-BD days I have used the DVD of the Gandalf/Balrog falling scene from the beginning of TTT as a demo. Just imagine how much better that will be, with improved PQ and SQ!

According to the reviews that's one of the scenes that doesn't look too great

But it should look much better at the beginning of TTT

That's what I watched and it did not dissapoint. I only watched that one scene however right now I would give PQ 5/5 and AQ 5/5.

It was that impressive.

that's why I'm buying it, I'm more of an audiophile than videophile so this will ROCK for me. By the way, Target is gonna have this for $5.00 cheaper than best buy, will they still price match even tho I put down $5.00 for the plasticbook case? I don't know cuz they are really really finicky about stuff lately, and they have actually been kinda shady... but that's not the point.

Haven't seen the Best Buy ad yet but yeah if they don't drop the price before I go next week, I will price match Target again.
