The part that gives me chills is

Jackson stated that horse-owners were probably not going to be real happy with those scenes.

The Charge of Rohirrim at helms deep = Best scene in the whole trilogy and awesome music too.

I'd say the one at Pelennor Fields edges it out just a bit, if only because there's more pwnage and because it has the best pre-battle speech in the saga.

Yeah I also loved the charge of Rohirrim at Pelennor Fields.

Theoden's speech was brilliant.

DEATH!

I also think Battle of the Pelennor Fields > Battle at Helms deep.

For the guy who was wondering why Faramir didn't make my list of leaders, he doesn't really do anything except get hit by a bunch of arrows.

Boromir did it like a man, protecting others, Faramir did it because he was too stubborn to say no to his deranged father.

Faramir was prolly the bravest man in middle earth. He attacked thousands of bow weilding orc defending a fixed position with about 100 men on horseback. Not the smartest but the bravest.

The Rohirrim r also my fav part of the trilogy. While I enjoy the actual charge of Eomir at helms deep u cant beat Theodens speech at Pelinor Fields. They say Bernard Hill came up with a lot that stuff on his own like riding past with his sword hitting their spears.

For the record, I was at Best Buy today and they had both the 9 disc and 6 disc LoTR BR. The six disc set's box was definitely smaller.

I don't understand why denethor hated faramir, his own son in the movies.

He was still able to resist the ring in the end.
I know he was different in the books.

Faramir: Atlast we understand one another Frodo Baggins.

Some guy: If you let them go, your life will be forfeit.

Faramir: Then it is forfeit.
