As far as I know, such a thing does not exist. The offer came included with the Fellowship of the Ring EE DVD; this is what it looked like:

If the EE set is housed in anything less than THIS then I will be dissapointed.

Geez with Star Wars, Jurassic Park, both of the final Potters, and the possibility of LOTR:EEs coming out this could be the best year for blus
Now all we need would be the first three Indiana Jones movies and it would be complete.

Don't forget the remaining Bond movies!! With the likes of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who loved Me, The Living Daylights and Goldeneye.

Just picked up the boxset at FutureShop for $19.99!! However the labelling on the box was messed up and upside down. Did a whole bunch of these get made and then had to be blown out because of that? The box itself just has a piece of paper taped to it anyway, its not of high quality so I'll probably just toss it and keep the Blu cases.

My question is...does this set have an issue with 24p playback? I get lots of judder on all three movies but every other Blu I own plays back fine at 24p. It's like every few seconds and it almost seems like the picture is zooming in and out really quickly, it's not like the judder I got before when I didn't have 24p set-up properly (using a HTPC). Anyway like I said all my other movies work fine but this set doesn't in 24fps.

??

Thanks

LOL somebody's brain hadn't switched over to 2011 yet when he made this post, my guess is the EEs will hit in December, so SW doesn't slice the sales too much.

I'm not expecting the EE's to be released until 2012. I doubt that New Line would release it until "The Hobbit" is about to be released.

I have boycotted the current release because it's not the EE.

I heard it will be releasing this year.
Hoping it will release in the summer but it will probably release during Christmas time.

I agree. Guess we'll be getting Superman, Rings, Star Wars, and hopefully Indy at the end of the year. A bit expensive to say the least.

They're probably saving the $70+ price for the ultimate, super-duper extra-extra limited special edition in tin-foil packaging...

Krypto,

If all these releases happen, yeah, it's going to be a ridiculously expensive fall.

...NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH!

Gotta love Peter Jackson. He's a great filmmaker with the smart, George Lucas business sense.

Can't wait for the extended editions. The theatricals on Blu aren't better than the EE's on DVD so I didn't buy them.
