Nobody knows exactly what this project is yet. It might end up being just a short, it might be something for TV - but let's allow ourselves to be excited and treat it as a film for now, ok? (not that a new TV project by Lynch wouldn't be just as exciting!)

Imagine if the only thing truly holding up a new Lynch film is Dern not willing to shave her head. I mean she is rather busy lately, so a full shave might be tough.

I volunteer as tribute. I'm not a woman though, nor do I wish to shave my head, but if he asks...

My brain still hasn't recovered from episode eight of Twin Peaks The Return but I am always down for more Lynch. I prefer a film but I will take a short or if it is just Lynch filming Laura Darn eating Cheerios I will be there for that too.

Last year Lynch was spotted at a Netflix pitch party. Now I know it doesn't mean anything, but it could mean something. And it could be this.

As long as it's better than the glorified home movie that was Inland Empire, I'm all for another Lynch film. I love everything else by Lynch but that movie tries my patience like little else I can think of. Seen it three times now and every time I've come away thinking "Yep, I was right, this is bullshit." And cheap-looking, aesthetically ugly, barely-competent film school-level acting-exercise bullshit at that.

I'm assuming, of course, that it will be another movie and not something like Twin Peaks: The Return, which was genius, so...
