The Alpha 1 can shoot 8K30 and 4K120 — both in 10-bit — and recording 4K at up to 60fps allows for full-sensor readout without any pixel binning. Adding an external recorder to the mix lets you capture 16-bit RAW video.

As far as I can tell, it's only saying it was shot in 8k. There aren't any 8k projectors yet, are there? Or how about the new LED wall screens? Does any theater have an 8k screen?

Thanks. But I guess I meant actual theatrical 8k projector installations. Like could anyone buy a ticket to see an 8k movie anywhere in the world? As far as I know, it's not possible. I don't even think there's even an 8k DCI DCP spec, is there? I assume the only way to watch an 8k movie is through NHK in Japan.
