No, just FOTR (again assuming all we are reading/seeing/hearing is correct which seems VERY likely at this point unfortunately) and just one aspect of it being the green tint. TT and ROTK look fantastic with no major issues from all the comparisons. If it truly is this bad, you would have to think something will be done about it, but we will see.

I have to wonder if the folks authoring this disc (and/or whoever's approving them) really knows what they are doing.
The first release had a ton of DNR added to it. The second release fixed the DNR issue but has this ugly green tint to it. Why can't anyone do their job correctly? |

The screencap is from when Frodo wakes up in Lothlorien and it goes (to what should be) an all white screen. I can still see the pictures fine.

http://postimage.org/image/2zaubxdpg/ That is the scene just before Frodo wakes up in Rivendell, when he´s being healed by Elrond. Nothing is shown, just a completely white screen, as it is in the theatrical blu-ray and extended dvd, so it´s 100% meant to be white. The fact that it is also green tinted in the extended blu-ray of fotr even though it´s not showing anything very strongly suggests that the whole film has had the same green filter applied throughout, regardless of the scene being shown. Whether you like that uniform green tint or not is of course a matter of one´s own preference... Last edited by kingkong650; 06-12-2011 at 07:04 PM. |

It's supposed to be a pure white screen, in the new version it's green. The more I look at these the more it's obvious someone messed up along the line. The extreme amount of green bias is consistent throughout the entire movie and not just added to a few scenes (like the Shire to make it appear more vibrant.) The color timing is obviously off. White snow is now green snow, blue sky is now green sky, even a solid white screen is now firmly solid green. Hopefully Warner will issue replacements, it wouldn't be hard for them to do at all. Just have to regrade it. Last edited by Stinky-Dinkins; 06-12-2011 at 07:21 PM. |

Not to mention that we are paying a premium price for these Blu-rays, so this is inexcusable. Now... if they want to knock the set down to about $17.99. . |
