OK, I looked at that "side by side comparison" of the TE & EE on youtube, and I don't believe it's real. It looks like a single video with a green filter applied to one half.

I watched the YouTube side-by-side comparison, and I might be in the minority, but I actually like the new color scheme. I think it gives it a more fantasy-like feel.

Ultimately it probably comes down to stylistic preference.

I have to agree with the fact that it seems more fantasy-like. I don't like the new colours, but I do like the enhanced contrast a fair bit.

There are no official reviews that I have found as of yet.

I think to be more objective they should just talk about what they see and provide no comparisons. That was the case on the French Connection review on this site.

Well yeah, I can see the more fantasy-like appeal, because it looks like it was filmed on the Green Planet instead of on Planet Earth.

No, it doesn't. Pause it when Bilbo opens the door, and you'll see that the two sides don't quite match up. This wouldn't be the case if a green filter had been applied to one half of a video.

it s not to compare, just to know if some reviewers have had issues with the color that could have seemed odd to them

Yeah, the doorway is a little off, but it looks like the contrast is tweaked a bit which would throw the pixels off a bit. Look at when they're hugging and Gandalf is split between the two halves, it lines up perfectly, down to his hat and fingers.

I looked there, and it still looks off to me. I can't prove that the author hasn't gone to great lengths to fake this video, but it certainly doesn't *look like* a single video with a green tint applied to one half to me.

Won't post pictures before the release date...not stupid But many people know who I am on the net...I don't need to lie about things like this. In the Bollywood circle I always got DVDs before release dates

Actually the blurays are VERY RICH compared to the theatrical versions. Sound is spectacular. Can't wait to watch all of them...

At this point in time, the only one I'd trust pictures from would be Sutter.

Sutter posted initial pics of the packaging and when asked for some additional he provided a ton more. We know Sutter has the WB release in hand.

Didn't try to hide behind the "don't you know who I am" BS. There are retailers who release early (I suspect next week those who order from DVDWorldUSA will have their copies) so this "I'm not stupid" line is complete BS.
