Did anyone else get this from Amazon only to find that some of the discs are scratched or have fingerprints on them? The BDs are fine, except The Two Towers disc 1 which is covered in fingerprints. However, most DVDs not only have fingerprints on them, but they're also scratched. Also, the box and one of the keepcases were slightly damaged too.
I contacted Amazon and they're sending a replacement and I don't even have to send the original package back. ![]() |

I've had my copy of LotR since slightly after Black Friday and I still have yet to sit down and watch this trilogy. One of these weekends, I probably will but I just have to budget my time to watch the trilogy. This trilogy is one of those "watch once per year" kind of events because of the length of all three films.

I just received my "birthday present", the 15 disc extended BD set, from Amazon (which actually came from Super Fast DVDs). The slip-case is partly in French and the Digital Copy requirements state "consumer must reside in Canada...". I'm in the US. Before I even open the plastic, I'll still be able to get my DC and the Canada issue won't cause me any other problems, will it? Is the rest of the set the same as a US version? - If there is such a thing as a "US version".
Thanks, Eric |

Otherwise, the contents of the package will work as advertised. Blu-ray discs and extra feature DVDs work identically across all of North America regardless of who distributes it. We are both the same region. |

Nope, looks like the price has jumped back up. Be patient. I'm sure someone will have a sale on this eventually. Also make sure to check out the movie deals forum here. Whenever something pops up on sale someone posts it here asap.

By the way, the best price I've seen is 48.99 on amazon recently. Part of their best deal of the week kind of thing. I got mine Black Friday week for 49.99. How much was the walmart deal? Wow, around $37? That's awesome. Eh for $12 more (or $8 with taxes) $49 is cool with me. Last edited by TheBluRayPrince; 06-09-2012 at 04:54 AM. |

I created the TE's prologue of FotR using the EE's transfer. It looks marvelous. Should I do the entire movie? If I wasn't recapping LOST on another forum, I'd likely give it a shot.
