You want more, after getting your hands on all five dicks sets? That just seems greedy.

The sku numbers for these titles on Bestbuy.com are 8 digits. Doesn't that mean "online only"?

See, they think they can cover up their laziness in not fixing the green tint by including all these extra dicks and stuff this time around but I see right through the bullshit.

Although, 5 dicks? That is a pretty good deal to be honest. Maybe I have to think some more about this.

Well...if you are getting the Five Dicks Set then you'll need something like this to make it all work....

"Utamaro and His Five Women"

hm.... individual extendeds are starting at $24? These should be in the $10 range in no time. Looks like I might have to upgrade my $7.99 trilogy from Black Friday.

Just saw them for sale at my local jb hifi ( music store) in melbourne. For 44 aud which is really steep for one movie. Love to know if they are the same transfers. Which I assume they will be.

If I get these, I'll put the blu-rays in the old burgandy, green, and blue DVD cases that look like books.

Those beautiful buggers are hard to improve on.

I don't know. The Trilogy Edition's big book-like set is quite stylish IMO. Though if you're getting them individually, go for it

Seriously? This whole debate exists because people think it looks worse than the DVDs. The resolution is better, obviously, but the color scheme has been majorly divisive. People have been shouting "boycott" and "recall." I had put off buying the film because of it, contenting myself with the DVD, as did many others. I imagine that the loudest detractors are just going off of what they heard somewhere else.

As far as a "scientifically confirmed" blanket tint, I'm skeptical. Colors have been shifted slightly throughout, but not in a uniform manner.

Still, I don't care to beat this long dead horse. I was just offering my opinion. Color is as much about context of perception as what is actually there. The film looks great when I watch it, which is how filmmakers intend their audiences to experience a film.
