I love the new covers. I looked at my Wal-Mart for them but they were not there.

Great. Mines have been shipped from Amazon.com today.
I love the Covers for this "new" release. They are great IMO. Both are the cover art of the 3 books "the Art Of"... Amazing books. Theses posters where the first teasers posters for each movie - except for The Return Of The king : It was the Aragorn poster. I think (but I may be wrong) that the first posters for the trilogy are theses ones below. Got the first one in my Home Theatre. It looks so great.... Almost "mystic".... ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Darth Fredius; 09-01-2012 at 12:54 PM. |

The joy of multiple cuts. Films will always have continuity problems because of it. My favorite one is from Gettysburg: Longstreet (Berenger) has just taken a cigar out of his pocket and it is broken. They have a shot with the broken cigar in his mouth and then cut away for about a second or two then come back to him with a brand new cigar hanging out of his mouth.

Just got my copy from Barnes and Noble's website. They do ship with slipcovers, if anybody was wondering, and they are still $20.99.
Unfortunately, they also ship in those horrible little plastic sleeves that offer no protection whatsoever, so the bottom right corner on my slip got dinged. I'd even like the option of paying for better packaging. I'd be more than willing to shell out an additional $1.50 to get a cheap bubble mailer instead, and they cost half of that. I sure hope they ship their books in something sturdier. ![]() |

Am I to take it that these are the "final say" of the theatrical cuts? |

So has it been established whether the rerelease of FotR has the green tint or not?
