The rumours are getting stronger Penton that Wenger will sign a two year deal but their will be changes in the backroom staff and we are supposed to believe big changes with the squad too.
I feel he is going along with this to get another two years but the changes to the backroom staff will not be that big and i only hope they are the right choices but i would give more conditions to Wenger's contract if we have to put up with him for another two years like bringing in a Defensive coach, a Tactical coach who must be on the bench with Wenger and be given some responsibility with the squad.
I like to see the club appoint someone to help Wenger when it comes to transfer targets and he can be a go between with the board and Wenger.
But i am not expecting big changes in the summer and we can't do anything until Wenger goes.

A friend has told me the following about tonight's Europa League quarter-final second leg matches, and who is into the semi-finals:

Manchester United (England), Ajax (Holland), Celta Vigo (Spain) and Lyon (France) are through to the semi-finals. Lyon won 7-6 on penalties.

Unless it results in meaningful changes, I fear it will all be window dressing in order for him and the Board to appease the protestations from the fans. I don't know if I can take another 2 years of this.

I didn't hear about the news until I saw the local news programme earlier this evening. When they pronounced his name I remembered who he was. It was a shock.

I can't stand ManU, but it's a shame about Ibrahimovich's injury. He was absolutely beasting since he came to them via a transfer. He was playing at an unbelievable level, especially for his age. It will be interesting to see how they'll react to this news as a team. It completely changes the dynamic of that team.
I never wish injuries upon players, but if it had to happen, I wish it could have been before our last match. That was an especially painful game to watch at the end because we gave away 2 points to them. Ibra was a huge thorn on our side this season. I hope he can rebound from this injury, but at his age that won't be easy. Terrible way to go our if this is it for him.
