That's what I thought, it's just playing an actual 24p version rather than doing some on the fly conversion from 60 to 24.

Turn off Match content/Dynamic Range, leave the default as 4K/60Hz, then play the movie. It’s really easy to tell the difference between 24 fps film made to fit in a 60Hz video and a native HFR playback. It’s pretty obvious.

Just finished watching the movie. If it wasn't for PQ and HFR the movie would be quite mediocre. More on the lever of a tv show. A lot of plot holes to even count. Ang Lee usually strikes me as a deep director who likes to tackle deeply involved socio-political elements.

On my JVC DLA-X500 (DLA-RS49U) + HDFury Integral, the Billy Lynn 4k forced the projector into a weird mode where it bypassed all the picture calibrations Im really hoping this 4k behaves diffrently.

is there a noticeable difference in 120 fps vs 60 fps in terms of Gemini Man?

hopefully Gemini Man is the death knell for HFR...audiences have spoken and they don't like it
