Here's a little clip I took trying to show the difference between the 4K/60 fps...vs the 4K/24fps. I just uploaded it...so I hope you can see the difference for anyone who is interested!

Went grocery shopping today and picked up the essentials.

Liter o' Kickstart and a small Prime Reserve ribeye to cook up with some veggies tonight while checking out Gemini Man in HFR.

Didn’t see this in theaters; watched it last night. Really liked the movie, yes, it was predictable for sure, but it was still entertaining.

It looked amazing on my 65” DV tv and sounded just as good on my 7.1.4 audio system.

I really appreciated that it was released to fill the entire screen and that really changed the level of enjoyment for me. No boarders at the top or bottom. The only movie I’ve ever seen at ho e, look this good, colors be this brilliant in intensity while filling the entire screen.

I’d like to see more movies done like this. I’m not against the wider aspect ratio with top and bottom bars, it’s just really nice to see such a beautiful picture with so much action and life filling the screen.

The explosions looked simply stunning, the dynamic range on them alone was well done.

Yeah, it was mindless fun, but, it was great looking, great sounding mindless fun and that’s alright with me. 4/5

Home Theater (Family Room) - YouTube
Why anyone would like the way the second half of your video looks is beyond me. HFR looks repulsive.

Just finished watching this for the first time. The Higher Frame Rate is definitely noticeable in the Action Scenes and it unfortunately accentuates whatever CGI is in the movie. Junior looks pretty damn good, but outside of him it's obvious.

Had no issues outside of those. I didn't mind HFR, it's just more obvious being used to 24fps all the time.

I was absolutely blown away by how amazing this film looked. I am loving the 60fps!

I do have a high end TV though and I wonder what those of you who didn't enjoy it are watching it on? Is it the quality of TV that's making a difference?

The movie itself was decent, about what you'd expect from a action movie. It's not going to win an Oscar that's for sure! If you enjoy action movies you will enjoy this one.

It looked fine for me as well. My set is listed in my Signature. I'm not sure if it's outputting in 4K60fps HDR or not, but it looked fine to me.

This really did look better as 120fps, the first blood style end action fight was kinda amazing to see.
The 60 on disc looks detailed as all hell, but it loses something.

My review: HFR is awesome

Yeah I definitely want to see more movies like this. So long as they are using mostly real backgrounds and scenery with very little CGI. Of course you wouldn't want all of your movies to look like this. But it's perfect for a regular action movie. It's a good showcase for 4K and HDR too, to show people new to the format so they can see an impressive demonstration of clarity and detail that they haven't seen before.

Well the good news is that we know this particular film won’t be bolstering the odds of future HFR projects, given what an overall flop it is. The next ridiculous attempt comes from a bigger name however. I don’t expect better results though.

It's mind blowing that people like high frame rate in movies. That looks so cheesy and fake...

No, it does not look fake; you want it to look fake, but it looks less fake.

when looking at something from any HDMI input, press the OK button on your remote and it will tell you what the video source is being sent to the tv. keep in mind, this cannot be done when streaming apps that originate from the tv itself.

i have a 6 series 65" and my blu-ray player was sending 4K/60hz/DV as the tv said the input was. can't speak to what the xbox is sending. just hit that OK button and you will know

Agreed. It feels like I'm actually there, as opposed to 24fps where I feel like I'm just observing.

It was the HDMI cables. Apparently mine weren't certified so I replaced everything with the certified Monoprice cables and got the full 60 fps beauty on my OLED.... and it is easily the best looking content I've seen so far.

The color issues I was having vanished after changing cables. Oddly enough these certified cables were the exact same price I paid for the others... about $6 each.

I was very impressed with the video quality... more than the quality of the movie itself... LOL although it was nice to see all those spots in south Georgia where I lived for many years.

I don't want anything, it just looks fake and breaks the immersion even though it's going for the opposite.
