I didn't notice this problem. My main complaint was that the blacks in the right eye were significantly more raised than the blacks in the left eye, which was an annoyance in dark scenes. It was my only real complaint with the presentation. It was my first time seeing a 3D movie in Dolby Cinema, but I imagine it's consistent with all movies shown that way.

I saw the fringing in certain shots. Usually the bright daylight wide shots caught my attention. Darker scenes not so much.

As for the 2K image. I didn’t notice a lack of detail, but that could be because my attention was more drawn to the shear vividness of 120 fps and the problems I had with the CGI effects.

No Region 1 Blu-Ray 3D, No Purchase and No Pre-Order.

I'll wait for this to come out on Starz or Prime Video free of charge like I did for Alpha. Not paying for a 4K combo pack of a 3D+ HFR movie that doesn't contain a Blu-Ray 3D disc that's Region 1 or paying to see it in 2D.

The UHD will probably be 60fps and the Blu-ray 24fps, that would make most sense but it’s Paramount we are talking here.

Same here, astounding, I saw it in 60 and the image was dim as hell but yeah. However, there's a handful of dodgy shots in the day light final scene, I don't know if it was the lighting that made it feel that way or they just ran out of time?

Yeah I thought the same thing about Junior. I felt he looked great throughout the movie except for the daylight epilogue scene. He just looked really awful there.

Yeah if the UHD isn't 60fps, this will be the first Paramount UHD I won't buy.

I like collecting everything I can, but not if they're going to shortchange us on how the film was intended to be experienced.

And this is coming from someone that isn't a fan of HFR. At least not its current iteration.

Puzzled with Paramount giving this that tanked domestically working with a $138M budget a 4K release meanwhile Crawl was treated like complete sh*t.

Doesn't matter how much it tanked. It's still a big budget Will Smith movie with a likely demo-worthy 60FPS disc that was already in the pipeline.
