It sure seems it doesn’t have that many fans outside the HDMI Forum. Most amusing thing these days is that essentially we have an HDMI 2.0 ‘lite’ and a ‘full’ HDMI 2.0, which is not really differentiated by most marketing folks in the consumer electronics industry because to them, HDMI 2.0 only equals 4K 60fps capability, PERIOD.

Of course people trying to sell you something (be it a concept or a physical product) in the C.E. industry tend to like playing word games.
