Thats a pretty hard comparison as the Marvel Universe is.....overwhelming.

the choice is obvious. marvel is the better company. they've just got better characters all around. sure, they have some lame ones, but their lame ones don't come close to being as bad as some of dc's.

Marvel owns the comics, but Batman owns the movies.

Marvel as a whole in both comics and movies. Batman would win out as a singular character movie and TV wise though.

i think as a whole marvel owns the movies more than batman. batman's got 4 good films in a series of 6. and many though only think 2 are really great. so the track record so far isn't outstanding. i love the dark knight, batman begins, batman returns, and batman. i even think the dark knight is one of the best comic book movies made. if not the best. but his overall track record is spotty really. considering he's got two of the worst comic book movies ever made.

While I love Batman. Marvel just ends up having many more interesting characters. So I voted Marvel.

I like Marvel's overall cast of comic book characters more, but the movies are on a par with DC's. I'd put up Spider-man 2, X-Men 2 and Iron Man up against Batman Begins or The Dark Knight. There have been some horrid Marvel and DC movies.

Marvel. Better characters and they actually know how to get the movies made.

They also make better movies. Haven't been impressed with a DC movie since Burton's Batman.

Marvel may know how to get the movies out but they seem to not care to much for quality of the films or story

I think the bad marvel films outweigh the dc ones but that is just my opinion.

what?! are you nuts?! steel is the worst movie made. as is supergirl, superman III, superman IV the quest for peace, batman forever, batman and robin, and catwoman. really, dc only has like 6 good movies. marvel on the other hand has at least 8 good films. and most of those 7 are excellent. plus some of their bad films are nowhere near the crap dc puts. spider-man 3, x-men: the last stand, daredevil, the hulk, and the punisher are way better than steel or supergirl any day. dc movies pretty much suck except for superman returns and half of the batman series.

Thanks, I needed a laugh. Like was noted above, DC has some massive stinkers compared to Marvel.
