To be fair though, I saw the link to his statement and I don't recall him saying what the # limit per person would be nor at what # remaining that limit would kick in.

He just didn't specify 500, but that is when they send the email out that it is "close to selling out", so...

Oh man, The Blob is one of my favorites. I missed out on Fright Night because I felt it was overpriced and maybe I could pick it up cheaper later (whoops). I ordered NOTLD b/c I didn't want the same thing to happen, even though I only like/like+ the movie (Savini commentary doesn't hurt). The Blob would be one that I wouldn't hesitate for a second for. Hopefully some bonus features too since all previous laserdisc and DVD releases have been pretty bare-bones.

These are just off the top of my head I'm sure I missed quite a few...

I'm disappointed that they are releasing Christine as it has a great special edition on DVD and you know they won't include the deleted scenes (26min.) or making of (50 min.). The commentary is a possibility though. I would be pissed if they got the rights to The Fog!

I would prefer if they only released titles that have barebones DVDs, or have never been released before, such as: The Blob, John Carpenter's Vampires, When a Stranger Calls 1979, Silent Rage, From a Whisper to a Scream, Nightwing, Swamp Thing, Torture Garden, 976-EVIL, ect.

Thanks - he was not at all specific just a simple statement and a supposition that it's 500 because that's when they send the email. It can still be any number.

I hear you on that. In the Mouth of Madness is probably my favorite non-Halloween, non-The Thing, Carpenter film. Considering what isn't on Blu-ray still, I'm not expecting it any time soon.

I ordered NOTLD and Enemy Mine. There was pending charges on my account for a couple days. Today they have disappeared, am I to assume they will recharge me when they are shipped? Last time I ordered from them the movie had already been released.

It's controlled by Warner, Twilight Time has no shot at it. It looks fairly good in HD, there is a newer transfer of it running on certain channels. I imagine it will get released within the next five years, it's just that Warner Home Video has been quite negligent managing the former New Line properties on Blu-ray.
