I've been visiting Screen Archives on a daily basis and checking the status of my order. I thought I was just being paranoid, but apparently not.

Are you sure your order actually went through the first time? Did you have an email confirmation or confirmation number? I've noticed strange behavior in the past with the checkout process where it will bounce you back to a product/main page w/o checking out and not tell you.

this would have sold out even faster if they hadnt limited it to 2 Copies/customer towards the end.

I knew this would sell out, just not this fast, i was thinking Fright Night amount of time.

The funny thing is that if this hadn't been limited to 3,000, it's almost certainly wouldn't have sold anywhere near 3,000 units already. How many people who actually want the movie bought 2 or 3 to have one or two to resell later? How many people that don't care about the movie made purchased it betting on a quick sell-out to turn a few bucks? How many people who would have waited and bought it in their own time rushed to get it immediately for fear it would disappear? I'd guess that if the 3,000 limitation hadn't been announced, they probably wouldn't even have moved 1,000 units by now. Possibly a lot fewer than 1,000.

So TT can't keep someone from releasing this in region 2 or 3, right? Maybe Second Sight, or Arrow?

They know they can create this demand and hype. Of course people wouldn't normally go crazy over this release.

Me too. When it got under 500 I checked several times to make sure my order was still there.

I see they're only letting each customer buy 2 copies this time.

...or they were, I should say.
