I thought the smurfy nature of this smurfy release makes it well worth the smuftacular prices they are smurfing for on ebay. Not really!

Thus Twilight Time blu-ray release is absolutely dissappointing both in the smurfy color scheme and of course removing the screwups that are on the theatrical and dvd release. It really sounds like someone was trying to be creative and change the movie to suit how they thought it should look. Maybe it was brainy smurf.

At some point, a proper non edited non smurfed bluray release will happen, then all the Twilight blurays will be seen at the local flea markets and ebay selling for peanuts.

I am surprised Savani would approve this horrid release. It sounds like he is trying to save face.

So I'll hold onto my dvd with normal coloration and nothing missing. And I will wait for a proper bluray release.

Funny, what makes Torrent's opinion misguided and yours not? there is clearly a color issue here, whether you like it or not is irrelevant but there is no denying there is an issue, it is just whether it is a bad one or a good one.

In my opinion he is misguided yes. What issue is it with the colour, looks OK to me.

Going to try in the next week or so to get some pics from my tv.......not much point i know as we are viewing through a PC monitor, but people seem to like pics.

Here is how it looked Theatrical, so if you look at these and say that our TT NOTLD 90 BD looks like these images, well then there is your problem, because clearly there is a huge difference, but as I said it boils down to whether you have an issue with the new color, in this case I actually do, where I do not hate it, but I definitely think it is way to far on the dark side.

and for the record, Torrente is not misguided as you will see once you look at how it looked before this release.

lol, there is no way in hell your Twilight Time BD looks the same or even close to those images I posted above, there is a huge difference, I can now see there is no more reason to dispute this with you if you say your BD looks like those, there is just no way.

It is good you like the new color, I am all for that, more power to you, enjoy it.

Not far off i said, and memory with regarding colour can play tricks (see where i am coming from ). But looking at the night time scenes yes they are very similar. Did you find out where those images came from or are they from the DVD?

We are looking at pics through our PC's unless they are calibrated and we know how the pictures were taken it really is pointless for me or anyone else trying to judge what is correct.
