Well, I would rather get a North American release but I just may have to bit on the Happinet release. For those curious the Forgotten Films release was debated on this thread:

So... I have two of my favourite movies on flawed Blurays?

I do own the happinet release, and its beautiful. By far, the best release anywhere. Unfortunately, there isnt any bluray versions of the remake besides the TT release, so i ordered it, tint or no tint. Cant be any worse than the version i watched on Crackle.

Don't watch movies when you're on crackle.

Remember what Whitney Houston said: "Crackle is whackle"

(or something like that).

Watched my copy of the Twilight Time NOTLD 90 Blu-ray and glad I didn't get one of the blue tint versions.A little bit darker than the DVD release but it worked fine with me.Heres a screenshot I took.

There aren't multiple versions of this release out there. The blue tint was not a 'mistake'. You got what everyone else got.

I watched several scenes from my DVD and then watched the TT NOTD'90 in it s entirety afterwards. The Blu is darker than it needs to be and there was a blue tint to the movie for sure. Not a deal breaker for me and I got used to it. Just the same, if the movie gets re-released again on Blu with a more "accurate" rendition then I will gladly quad dip (VHS, DVD, Bluray and Bluray again).

The thing is, is it as bad as some of the pics on here certainly not on that one.

You're comparing direct screen captures from the disc to someone who took a picture of their TV at a slight angle, possibly with flash on

What I don't quite understand is that all you want us to say is "it's not as bad as some said it is", well ok then maybe BUT it's still not the definitive release for this movie.
That's all I'm saying and Vidjunkie was trying to say to you last time.

Maybe it's not a plain disaster (for you and others), I can agree on that, but still, it's not the best release for this movie.
That's all I'm trying to say.
Between "overly blue" and "overly red", I'm sure they could have found the right color timing somewhere in between... but they didn't and that's a shame.

Now that we all made our point, it would be great if we could move on

Thats my point, you can not do it properly as all the shots will show it to a greater or lesser extent depending on quite a few factors.....

Look at the time bar on his pic. It actually looks champagne or gold in color when it should actually be grey. So either it's a bad pic, his settings are messed up or both.
