Wow. Didn't expect this to sell out before the release date.

Glad I pre-ordered mine last weekend.

Looking forward to seeing it again as I remember enjoying it much more than the original version.

A few people said once it hits that magic 500 left it would sell out in only a few days and they were right. I hope all the people who were sitting on the fence got their orders in.

Unfortunately, SAE's site doesn't work that way. Back when they had a 100 signed copies of Journey plenty of people had the signed copy in their cart automatically removed because someone else was able to check out quicker then they where able to.

Don't they figure that the eBay seller is probably getting them for a more regular price, from the actual distributors? They can't possibly think the eBay seller is producing this release themselves.

Some one bought a copy for $70 only a day or two after the pre-order went up, when TT still had over 1000 copies. Searching "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD 1990 BLU-RAY" will bring you right to this very thread. It's really baffling.
Obviously if anyone had done any Google research prior to purchasing it off eBay, they would know it's available from a cheaper source. But I think some people get confused or misled because a few companies have resorted to selling their items exclusively on eBay with its worldwide exposure, particularly in some niche markets. The buyers might think the disc was directly from Twilight Time.

Possibly, but wouldn't that only make sense if one user was selling them? There have been multiple sellers since the pre-order date. Who would search for this, and see 4 different sellers offering it for pre-order, and think they were all TT?

Well to be fair it was just that one guy when both of those copies were purchased. Since the sell out now more have popped up.

The first seller is obvious hoping that the old "there's a sucker born every minute" saying is true, but the listing ended with no suckers biting. He is also offering instock TT titles like Cover Girl for $85.

This is streaming for free over at Hulu. (just watched it) The film has aged well as I enjoyed it more this time then when it came out in theaters back in 1990.

Cool film, but I just can't see spending that kind of cash for a film that is not high on my priority list for HD. I am happy for all the fans that got in before the sell out though.

I have it on my DVR from Encore HD. It looks pretty good, but has some specs/dirt that should be removed. The beginning in the cemetery is the most obvious.

Yeah, I noticed that in the VUDU 2 min preview I saw:

Unless they did a restoration of it after that HD master was released, there is a good possibility that those specs will still be there. As you said, time will tell.

Question for all you experienced TwilightTime-ers. Should I expect my order to arrive right on the 9th, a few days after, or do they tend to ship early? thanks
