Especially since they have dozens and dozens worth of comics to chose from. What was the point of giving them more episdoes if they were just going to stretch on story over 6 hours?
I sat watching over 4-5 months and yes there were times I was a little bored and wanted them to move the story along, you have to remember one thing. Memorable things stick with you when your NOT expecting them to happen. This is why suspense is so important. In order for those final 2 episodes to work the way they did, to shock the way they did and to kick ass in the final showdown we NEEDED a cooling off period where things didnt happen. The shot of the zombie filled field after the Shane incident had my jaw dropping because I didnt expect it. The season had been moving along and then bam, your hit with the finale and it delivers.

I think it is also one of the reasons why the original still works today. Your watching these slow news shots but your getting information and seeing how the actors react to that info. Also your witnessing history. Zombies have been done to death but those news shots established the rules of what a zombie is so historically they are quite significant.

I can go without and it is a shame they don't make more than 3000 copies But I would like to get them if possible, especially NOTLD 90. Thanks.
Honestly...good luck with that.

You might have a shot with NOTLD once they start shipping, but you'd be lucky to pay double the price for Fright Night at this point.

I have to be honest with You about the price that You want to pay.....Is not easy for You to find the Title cheap.
But I can offer You an option, I place an order of 2 "Night Of The Living Dead" and 2 "Enemy Mine" 1x1 for me and 1x1 for My Brother and after a week He told Me that He doesn't want the Titles and told me to cancel the order, so because was "SOLD OUT" I decided to keep the order and I see that eBay people ask for $65-$140 for "Night OTLD" so I was Thinking in selling both "Night OTLD" and "Enemy Mine" together for $120 so If You are Interested PMsg.

Regards

p.s.You can pick up if You live In Toronto,ON

Do you think reputable sellers sell below market price? No, they charge the going rate.

And 3 posts complaining about the $29.95 before the release and now asking for a fair price to buy the Title because was "SOLD OUT"

Wow I haven't been paying attention lately and completely missed this. Sold out on a preorder. Some studio exec should be kicking himself in the head over licensing this with only 3000 copies. Wonder the percentage of copies that were purchased just to sell on Ebay?

Perhaps this is where he and George stopped talking to each other?

And as far as the transfer used for the DVD, it's clear that there's tons of room for improvement. Twilight Time has a good track record with Sony/Columbia because they are creating new HD transfers for their films and these are the ones that are being released in these limited editions.
About the new transfer, I wonder how much it costs to make one. Between labor, packaging, burning discs, buying the rights and making a new transfer, if they sell 3000 copies at 30 bucks a pop, that's only $90,000 that they are making total. I don't know how they are making money off of this.

Edit: unless Sony is fitting the bill

100%, 3000 auctions will go up!

They will be worth so much, noone will open them. Can't lost that Mint. Brand New pricing! The quality of the transfer will remain a mystery.
