Yup, I'm aware. But I don't get the feeling they ship 3000 copies of any particular release within a few days.

I first saw Body Heat in a film class at college, and later bought it on DVD. Now I have it on Blu, but haven't watched that copy yet. I don't remember the music, for some reason...I was tempted to buy that score but figured I should revisit the film first. The only Barry scores I've got are Day of the Locust, High Road to China, and Out of Africa.

I don't want to derail the NOTLD thread but Body Heat is a great score! The original score was very hard to obtain for many years. I believe it was a limited pressing promo CD. So to have it available now is a pretty big deal. Even better is the recent release of King Kong. I've wanted that complete original soundtrack since I can remember!

the vudu hdx will offer the best pq.
amazon is only 720p.
(if the film is included in the Vudu dvd-to-digital plan then taking a dvd copy to Wal-mart and paying the $5 will be the cheapest way to get access to the hd download; don't know if it is part of that program yet or not; also: you keep your dvd--they just mark the inner ring)

Crackle has commercials, right? Tried Crackle in the past, but it reminds me of... (gulps) ...t.v.
