Typically true, Joe, which makes perfect sense because of the extra customs paperwork alone. Boxed International orders seem to be the last of the last because of not only that paperwork but also the picking and packing. If it's any consolation, I'm always among the first to order each month, and the last to see a notice because I'm always ordering enough to guarantee a box for safer cross-border transport.

I think it's great that SAE has started to ship this early...nearly 2 weeks in advance of their originally announced street date. So a couple of days for them to get through all 3000 orders globally is nothing. I mean, this is a small company, with limited shipping resources, so they're obviously batching similar types of shipments (bubble vs. box). People should be giving them a break already...they're just trying to provide some above-and-beyond customer service here. Technically they don't owe any of us a shipping notice until Oct. 9.

It does Dex. Although registered shipping is safer, it's not faster. In addition to the extra upfront paperwork, those shipments have to go through more checks every step along the way, especially Internationally.

Through out all the whining about this thread being immature or annoying, I've yet to see these people bring up anything worth discussing. If shipping updates are so retarded, give us something more "adult" to talk about while we wait for our shipments to arrive. Go on.

Wooooo one of my orders shipped! I live in Canada and the email is telling me its going to take 45 days!?!? That can't be right, I paid $15 for registered mail on both! This is the email.

For International customers - We know that it can be stressful waiting for your order to arrive. Our experience is that in most cases the package is in foreign countries mail system or in customs waiting to be cleared. We ask that you kindly wait for 45 days for international packages (30 days for domestic). The reason why is that we need to see if the package gets returned to us as undeliverable or it eventually finds it way to you in the postal system. Please know that there is no tracking number associated with foreign orders unless you paid additional for Registered or Express Mail. The postal systems around the world do not communicate with US postal systems in tracking first class airmail packages. We urge you to please check with your local post office to see if the package may have been attempted to be delivered and it is possible that the package is on a shelf in the back room. If the package arrives back to us we will immediately contact you. Please keep us posted once any undelivered order hits 45 days from the shipping date (30 days for domestic).

It's just saying to wait 45 days and if it doesn't arrive in that time frame then you can contact them about it. It should arrive well before then.

Mine will be here tomorrow! Whooooooo! I know what I'm watching late Saturday night/early Sunday morning when I get home from my karaoke gig.

Also, still waiting for them to authorize payment again. The first temporary one that "posted" to my Paypal account expired and nothing been pushed through again yet.

Cool! It's definitely one of Barry's best scores from the 80's. The film is solid but I actually prefer Double Indemnity over Body Heat. Let me know what you think!

In NOTLD news, my order has shipped along with the Body Heat soundtrack!

I always order more than 1 title as well, and I just got my shipping notice, the boys at SAE are just pumping them out.

Don't worry you'll get it. Remember, SAE have 3000 pre-orders to fulfill, not including other blu-rays that were ordered along with NOTLD.
