I'm normally not picky on bad artwork but I will definitely make or use a customer one for this release. Something like the original movie poster.

I suppose I have a differing viewpoint on what makes an aesthetically pleasing cover. A lot of the covers that many people praise I dislike for the amount of text on the cover saying the actors names, the director, the studio, reviews, the tagline, all the ways you can watch it, whether it won any awards, what store you bought it at etc. coupled with some floating heads of the attractive lead actors. At least Twilight time use some creativity in their artwork. You can tell instantly that this is a horror film, it is not crowded, the colours contrast really well, the font is stylised and the picture is interesting. I like it.

I understand what you're saying, but the biggest problem is you can't tell *which* horror film it is. I mean, you can't even tell if it's the original or the remake based on the cover.

The cover art is terrible. I'll still be picking this up but it really bugs me when companies don't use the original artwork. If the artwork were at least good, I would be less disappointed by the lack of the original poster.

Folks can have their cluttered, sausage factory Photoshop jobs...this cover has some clean, elemental punch. The more I look at it, the more I like it, not only for this movie, but also the collection it's part of.

I think that's part of its point joltman. The 'feel' of Romero's 1990 remake is also a lot like that...
