People are blowing this darkness thing WAY out of proportion!!! But the whiners are always gonna find something to complain about!!!!
No, you're wrong...I just watched the first 30 min and tried every setting and adjustment on my TV and its too unpleasant to watch!

Did Peter Jackson when he put the green tint on Felowship of the Ring? I'm just offering up a possible explanation. Who knows? Maybe this will be a huge deal and get a press release and stuff?

Well, if your projector is properly calibrated then you shouldn't have to switch modes.

This may indeed be some kind of huge screw up. The credits look normal and then the screen seems to turn blue. Can anyone maybe spot the frame it starts and post it?

The credits are fine all the way through the zombie attack. I've gone through it several times... the most noticeable difference seems to start after Barbara crashes into the tree and gets out of the car (though I noticed a difference while she's in the car too, just not as obvious), It's all downhill from there.

Just messaged Tom Savini on FB, Asked if he gave permission for his film to be drastically altered and if not, How and who would be responsible for doing so. Can Sony do it without his go-ahead. Be great if he replied and said he's gonna Fook someone up for this

Has anyone contacted anyone that'd be "in the know" about the transfer?

Lol yea right...

That's really a good point. The VUDU transfer is a full 1080P version (albeit compressed compared to a Blu-ray) and it lookedfine aside from some artifacts and specks . What on earth happened between that and this? I don't see why they would make 2 different versions that literally and figuratively look like night and day from one another.

I suppose one could say when the car goes down hill, so does the transfer....

Is it just me or has there been an inordinate amount of horror movies getting crap treatment on Blu-Ray lately? This is simply unbelievable and a recall is certainly in order, especially given the price they charged since it was a "limited edition."

Twilight Time should be ashamed of themselves for even attempting to sell a transfer as shit as this. I have to imagine they're not completely blind and would see the transfer is recall-worthy atrocious. Shame on Sony of course for doing some an abominable job to begin with.
My guess, from the selection of their films, there is no real hardcore horror fan at TT to notice this error and reject the transfer given to them by Sony

I for one don't want to keep a $35 blu if it's unwatchable, but I'll make my own mind up after I watch.

I'm curious, what other horror blu-rays got the "crap treatment"? With Arachnophobia, at least Disney/Buena Vista recalled and fixed it.
