agreed. at first I hated the whole thing, but really the font made all the difference in the world. gotta hand it to them. at least they listen to their customers, as much as they can anyways.

I gotta hand it to them, Twilight Time responded with some great results to the fan reaction. I favor this font way more than the original choice.

I only bought one copy of Fright Night, and regretted not buying more....and that's exactly why I'm buying at least 5 of these. This is like money in the bank.

I don't buy any stuff for resale that I don't already have in my collection. I don't deal in titles that I don't understand a collector's passion for. I know Romero/Savini/zombie/gore fans, because I am one/all of the above.

I'm buying all I can reasonably afford, only because I know exactly what I'd pay for a copy if I'd missed it.

As for the speculator question, no, speculators are not keeping Twilight Time in business. That's pretty ludicrous. What, are there a hundred of us just buying and selling to each other? I think not.

To be fair... you're talking 3000 copy limited runs...

So... 100 people who each buy 10 speculator copies... that's 1/3 of the entire run right there!

They have a couple of near-sellouts based on longevity of the release... but for an instant sellout like Fright Night, you can almost be assured it was speculators that made that happen.

Everyone here argued there was no market for it at retail. that 3000 people were all that wanted it... so I find it hard to believe that the entire market found the product and scooped it up in so quick of a time with a new company like this that had virtually no visibility outside of forums like this and AVSForum.

Just look at the number of people here who said they bought multiple copies.

The new font is so much better and more appropriate. As for speculators, my guess is about 10% of the 3000 units on their more popular titles are sold to speculators.

Uhm...35 days/5 weeks was hardly an "instant sellout" HDMe. Whether intentional or not, you're rewriting history there.

Well, you win on that point Clark.

Actually, I liked the other design/layout/title font, but agree that this updated version works as well or better. Here's a side by side comparison just for the record*:

* since the link to the first version could become a pizza box with a red X any minute now.

Do you have a link? Any news on other features? Not that the score is iconic but I like isolated soundtracks.

So where can one pre-order these? Twilight Time doesn't seem to have a home page.

There's absolutely zero reason for you to try and turn a profit on these. Money is not a good enough reason, sorry. Leave them in stock for people who will actually watch and enjoy those copies you're going to pick up and hock.

It loses the "The Dead Walk" 25-minute documentary, but gains an isolated score.

I would rather have the doco personally. I don't remember the score being something I would listen to sans the video and dialogue.

I know Romero wrote this but I don't think it's quite accurate to call it George A Romero's "Night of the Living Dead".

https://www.facebook.com/twilighttimemovies - the link with the news.

I dread if they do the first 100 autographs again. Their servers will crash and burn again and unless you have a very *mighty* computer you wont even get on the SAE site trust me I know from experience

I love the new Font they used for the title. Still it needs more Zombies on the cover !
