Youre right. We all got together last night and decided "Hey lets lie about how bad the image looks so we can get those gosh darn scalpers!!"

Well said!

Some people here are very OCD. I understand it's not to your liking but blaming TT or SAE is insane. They didn't produce or make the disc. I'm sure given more than a day to look into this we will get some answers. But until then enjoy the movie or sit it aside and settle down a little. If nothing else you'll get your money back. Which is a very professional thing to do.

it seems like you're waaaaaaaaaaaay to willing to defend a company's poor actions. if they **** up, it's their job to eat it and re-do it or suffer the consequences.
I never said I was defending them. I was just giving an explanation as to why they're being so nonchalant about the situation. If someone was complaining before they even spend money, I'm not going to show allot of concern when they complain later on. That doesn't make sense to you? You show allot of concern for people who criticize you but don't actually know anything about you?

I have no idea why Twilight Time would offer a replacement program for NOTLD90. I've criticized them before for the shoddy transfer they released on the Demetrius and the Gladiators BD, but NOTLD90 is in a whole different ballpark. Some people just seem upset the color timing and brightness level is darker than they expected.

Someone should probably get Romero's or Savini's thoughts on the matter, if we are to get to the bottom of this situation.

I love those of you saying "dont judge it by the screencaps! its not accurate!"

What about those of us who TOOK the screencaps? You are aware we are taking photos of the actual film... after we saw it in motion...

Yep, true. You can get your money back! Can't take back the heartbreak though. *sigh*. I love this movie...

Did TT produce the transfer? No, that's on Sony. Are they responsible for the disc? Yes, they are.

I wonder what TT or SAE will do with these opened copies since they can't sell them as new anymore. Is a price reduction in the works?

customers are the life's blood of a company. basically we're their bosses. their whole goal is to make sure we're satisfied, otherwise ...kick em to the curb.

You seem to be one of the very few who defends TT. Esp with many people here complaining about how they handle things.

You work for them or just really a positive person?

Ok some of you said they are offering refunds...

where is this being offered? So far ive only seen them defend the disc which is why im so bothered. My blu is open obviously and one poster here said they wont give a refund if its open.

So point me in the right direction if what you say is true.

I love the movie, its one of my favorites. Been looking forward to it since it was first released. So sorry... it sucks.

My main wish is that it would be recalled. Since they are defending it, its clear they wont be doing that like Disney did with Arachnophobia.

I'll still buy Christine even if it turns out to be a dark blue car. Love the movie and Night doesn't look bad at all.

Well it looks like this may just be an isolated incident since it appears Enemy Mine looks great (from a review I just read giving it 4.5/5 for PQ)

They sold this as a special "limited edition" of 3000 copies, obviously designed to appeal to collectors who are fans of the film. Those fans expected to receive an HD transfer of the film they love and appreciate. What they got a was a transfer devoid of color with a major blue tint. Since Twilight Time marketed this with the obvious intention of appealing directly to fans of the film, they shouldn't be surprised by the criticism.
