Instead of feeding the trolls on this board any more than I already have, thought id post this for true fans of the flick here.
A couple weeks ago I went on a Romero road trip in Pittsburgh since Monroeville Mall was closing down Penney's. Went to Monroeville, the Dawn of the Dead airfield, the Creepshow house from the wraparound segment, the redneck house from Dawn, Evans City Cemetery from NOTLD, the cemetery from Night '90 *fyi, no it wasnt blue there*, plus I got to check out the house from Night '90 *from afar at least* Heres a few pics of it how it looks now: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Also you have to remember in this film some of the lighting was really bad an no its not an excuse but that plays a huge factor too with a restoration

I just want to state once again you should watch it and make your own mind up. The PQ is really good I can see beads of sweat on Tony Todds forehead I've never noticed before and this is all during the "blue" scenes which just look like darkness to me (inside the house is dark cause the lights aren't on at first) all just IMO

So what happened with all the previous caps guys? Unless these caps have been tinkered with in photoshop to remove the blue, I see nothing wrong them. Yes they're dark but the intention behind making these scenes darker makes sense. As long as the colour is still there I'm happy, and it appears to be. These are a huge difference compared to the others, which looked like they'd been dipped in blue paint beforehand

There's an interview with Tom here where he mentions that the Blu-Ray is coming out...
http://eastcoasthorrorgroup.com/east...ws-tom-savini/ Starts about 35min. in to the interview. The way he talks, it sounds like he had no part in putting the disc together. |

I haven't watch my copy yet, but according to this screenshot, the blu-ray looks more natural of what a real zombie would look like, if a corpse is risen from the grave. When a person dies, their flesh tone become a bluish grey tint. The undead don't have a completion as if the person is alive. So therefore the colorization of the blu-ray is accurate because zombies are not suppose to have flesh tones because they're dead.
