No someone emailed screen archives and they said that. Despite what you may think screen archives and twilight time are not the same entity. Screen archives is only the distributor for twilight time.

Thank you. By pointing out he confused them - something he still doesn't understand - I am 'defending my precious twilight time.'

No, I was pointing out in fact that no one has posted an email from twilight time here. Stop acting like a child. Get your facts straight.

By running around making authoritative posts on something you have no knowledge of only makes my point that they probably aren't going to jump through hoops for clowns (like you odriley) on this forum until they have a definitive answer to provide.

So the only audio fault is in the end credits lol, well at least I know what to look at and fix there while my partner and I are redoing the video, this will be an easy fix I am thinking, and I can even use the existing blu-ray structure, just replace the audio/video assets and wallah, new fixed BD, and if this does end up being what the powers that be wanted, well then I can have both versions.

Youre right, I have no idea about the difference between Twilight and Screen Archives. All I know is ive seen no word from any of them on the issue other than what I posted. All I know is I spent 34.99 on a flawed disc and would like some answers. I dont claim to know any inside info other than what ive seen posted here or on facebook. If I was wrong about my post about the email than I apologize.

I know... how dare I be passionate about a movie I love.

Also, way to be mature with your attacks and name calling. You may not like that I have an issue with this release but at least I have enough respect for the people on these boards *including the ones who dont agree with me* to not call them "Clowns" or a "Child". Here is the response I got back from Twilight Time:

"If Sony tells us that the Blu-ray is exactly what was signed off on by the filmmakers and other involved personnel, then they will not do a new transfer or fix what they think isn't broken. On the other hand, should it be determined that some error occurred, somewhere between telecine and master, then that would be another matter. The problem is we won't know for several days...in the mean time all we can do is have SAE refund consumers who want to return their discs.."

So hopefully we'll know before the end of the week what happened, and if there was a snag somewhere on Sony's end. Let's hope there was.

The gunshot and rifle sounds have been altered. For example, when Harry runs out of bullets shooting at Ben the clicks can be heard clearly on the DVD. They are very faint on the Blu-Ray.

It's a shame you have to keep fixing stuff. I've seen your other work and it's amazing. Let me know where your version is available when it's finished.

As i said earlier Sony are normally very good with their transfers, so if it is indeed a fault it will be replaced or in the case of some films altered by some other part of the team who worked on the movie that might prove to be more difficult to rectify, so we will have to see if it was intentional and signed off by Savini or Even Romero as that's the way they want it to look.

Here are those previously posted screens showing the difference and this is our quick adjust just to see if it can be done and still look well, I am confident we can get this video right, but I really doubt I am going to go through the entire film and fix gunshots lol, I had no idea it was all of them, if it was just the end credits well that would be easy enough.
