In a year's time and they've gone OOP...30 dollars will be pennies to what this will go for!

I thought it could've been a fluke until I read thru posts on here and saw others said the same.

Honestly I HATE giving them business because of that.
Ah you've met the notorious ED. He knows they can't go anywhere else to get the stuff so he acts how he wants. Even if you go through Amazon ED is still packing your order and sending it out.

That's what I'm hoping doesn't happen for those who care about these movies retaining value. No skin off my nose either way... but if you want your movie to retain value, you have to discourage hoarders and scalpers and speculators.

Today you see a movie for $100 on eBay... how many times will that guy relist it unsold before lowering the price? Once you see him lower the price, you know you've won... and you wait him out until he is under his cost, because nobody wants to hold inventory forever.

You're better off eating a loss, taking the cash and moving to the next thing, than being stubborn and holding things that you haven't been able to sell.
Well I rarely see any of these movies on ebay going for lower than 35 unless they are used. I mean if Screen Archives can sell a bunch for 35 I imagine it wouldn't be that hard to move 5 or 10. I doubt the scalpers are losing anything with these, just breaking even. However due to the high cost I don't see anyone buying over 10 of these.

Some people are planning on reselling this title for hundreds of dollars. If it brings the exclusive collectible magnet, scalpers could get a much as
[Show spoiler]one million dollars!

I'll gladly drop $30 for this. It's the last film I ever got to see at a drive-in, and wish I could relive that awesome night. The DVD is looking pretty sad these days, so yeah, $30? No problem. I also really dig the artwork. Here's hoping for a worthwhile transfer and some decent bonus features!

Are there even a lot of scalpers for Blu-rays?

To be fair SAE is a small outfit. I have contacted them twice, once the phone and once via email. Both times, Ed answered, and I have no issues with him. The guy answers the phone and emails right away...he gets to the point fast with his answers. Some people find him rude, but I do not mind his no bs style.

Just wait awhile . . . .you can buy one on the secondary market and be assured of avoiding Ed 100%.

+1

I talked to SAE customer service (assuming it was ED?) on the phone a while ago but he was really nice to me and took care of the issue right away.

Big difference between no bs style and being flat out rude to the shoppers keeping you in business. I really hope twilight time eventully finds another place to sell their stuff cos I really REALLY hate supporting a company that has no values when it comes to customer service

Just to avoid any confusion, that's the cover I whipped together in a few mins, the actual cover is on the main page, and in my opinion is really bad

I'd really like to see a review before purchasing this, as some of TT titles seem to be a mixed bag. Any idea when a review might be up?
