I finally watched this, and I really didn't mind the changes with the color. Probably because I've only seen it once before, on VHS like 20 years ago.

The thing that struck me, is how old the movie looked. It easily looks like it could've come from the '70s. And damn, those zombies were slow. That lady wasn't kidding...

Heh. That's true, they are slow zombies. That's how I like my zombies, though. ...Back in the day, when they didn't run and actually wanted to "eat brains."

Agreed.

Slow zombies are the more logical type of zombies.

Some of us here were zombie and vampire fans long before it was "cool".

Luckily the zombie genre hasn't gone that route.

Walking Dead zombies move a little faster than Romero but they're still the slow lumbering type.

Dawn '04, Return of the Living Dead, 28 Days Later have the fast zombies.

Funny.... if you ask someone to name a "classic horror" film, NOTLD (1968) is usually among the titles they mention.

I like the Hammer, Roan releases. Of course the Universal series...even the odd ones. Drive-In Horror, 50's space aliens, morphed creatures & B movies / horror...the 80's switched it all

It looks like Sony has taken liberties with Annie as well.....

This is disheartening.

Just finished watching. Haven't seen the DVD so I can't really compare the picture quality. It was a bit dark at the beginning, but not as bad as people are going on about.

I really liked it. Until the end it seemed like a scene for scene remake - but I haven't seen the original in awhile.

Well "flesh" as opposed to brains. being that the original title was "Night of the Flesh Eaters"

They'd eat brains too though. Zombies aren't incredibly picky.

The Return of the Living Dead franchise began that "Brains!" craze. Those zombies ran, like the wind.

Not sure if it includes all, but the Millenium DVD edition has A LOT of special features. Still got mine since I haven't upgraded the 68 version to bd.
