Blu-ray Samurai

I finally watched this, and I really didn't mind the changes with the color. Probably because I've only seen it once before, on VHS like 20 years ago.
The thing that struck me, is how old the movie looked. It easily looks like it could've come from the '70s. And damn, those zombies were slow. That lady wasn't kidding... ![]() |

Funny.... if you ask someone to name a "classic horror" film, NOTLD (1968) is usually among the titles they mention.

I like the Hammer, Roan releases. Of course the Universal series...even the odd ones. Drive-In Horror, 50's space aliens, morphed creatures & B movies / horror...the 80's switched it all

It looks like Sony has taken liberties with Annie as well.....

Just finished watching. Haven't seen the DVD so I can't really compare the picture quality. It was a bit dark at the beginning, but not as bad as people are going on about.
I really liked it. Until the end it seemed like a scene for scene remake - but I haven't seen the original in awhile. Last edited by Pondosinatra; 10-17-2012 at 02:20 AM. |

![]() They'd eat brains too though. Zombies aren't incredibly picky. The Return of the Living Dead franchise began that "Brains!" craze. ![]() |
