Fright Night was a slightly more popular movie than NOTLD, but I think the general awareness of Twilight Time's releases are much higher now than when Fright Night was released. You are also going to have more speculators involved this time around. I imagine if someone orders in the first week or two they should definitely be able to get a copy.

I agree with Mr. Kent. Those who missed out on Fright Night aren't going to make that mistake with this release, and with increased speculators I wouldn't be surprised if Night of the Living Dead sells out faster than Fright Night. I know it's a long shot, but I hope the people who want this title get it from Screen Archives and the speculators have to sit on their copies.

I hope that part doesn't happen haha. But, I'm going to be standing by. I can't miss this one and I can't bring myself to buy it from someone who's going to double/triple the price.

I think the speculators should adjust their expectations as to what this will sell for on the secondary market. Because more speculators will be jumping on this release there will be more copies on the secondary market, and because this title isn't as well known as Fright Night I have a feeling the secondary prices won't reach what Fright Night did. I'm sure they will still be able to double their investment, but I don't see tons of these selling for over $100 like Fright Night has.

I have no time or energy to resell a movie only to make profit. I sell my unwanted Blu-rays at my work for $8 or $5!! This friday, I will be glad to buy my copy of NOTLD, but nothing more.

Man, I do love this movie but I hate Twilight Time's practices.

Did I miss something or are there no details yet about the Blu-ray?

For me personally, I don't feel like blindly paying $30+ for a movie I already own on DVD without any knowledge on the picture or extras. The DVD is not the best quality but it sure is watchable on my PS3.

I wish the people who want this Blu-ray the best of luck tomorrow!

I'm on the fence about this. I don't own the DVD , but TT titles have had very mixed reviews. If I don't pull the trigger, I may regret it when it sells out

We know that there will be the Tom Savini commentary from the DVD plus a trailer (as well as the usual isolated score track and booklet), as stated by TT on their Facebook page.

If you're worried about the PQ, the reviews for TT stuff generally go up a couple of days before the release date. I'm going to buck the trend and say that you'll probably be safe if you want to wait till then to order.

Anything with limited quantities should be sold "one per customer", at least for the first couple of weeks after going up for preorder. Anybody who wants a copy for themselves should easily be able to grab one without worrying about speculators crashing servers, stock running out, etc. I can't believe I actually might have to sit by a computer at 3:55 tomorrow to buy a movie.

They did a great job with Steel Magnolias (also a Sony title, released 1 year before NOTLD).
