I'm thinking it will be region free, they just don't wanna come out a and say it because of Twilight Time having the US rights. They might make them lock it if they find out... ?

I don't own, nor have I seen, the Twilight Time blu-ray.
I have the Laser Paradise blu-ray (Germany) and was wondering how that compared with the American release. Does anyone know? I haven't been able to find (an English-friendly) review of my blu-ray. Despite several classes in both HS and college, I mainly just know simple ("How's it going?," etc.) things and cuss-words or insults (which weren't taught in class). |

I came across this edition while looking for an alternative to the Twilight release but this German mediabook is apparently a bootleg. It has the same transfer as the Twilight Time (no extras except for the German language option), but to make matters even worse it is not even a full quality copy as you can read on that page it presumably has a divx logo showing at the start of the movie. ![]() |

I just saw that I was confused in my first post...
The German disc does have the DIVX-HDplus logo and looks a lot better than a DVD. I had the TT disc but it was grabbed along with my TV by a thief late last year. My Twilight Time got taken shortly after I got it and I'd only had a chance to watch part of it because my friends that were over decided they weren't in the mood for zombies. I collect German discs because I like the packaging (sometimes made like our old US "big boxes" or mediabooks as is NotLD). The cases are usually fairly eye-catching, and extremely graphic in relation to American ones. Sometimes it's hard for me to figure out if my German discs have better/worse picture and sound than the US releases. They're not generally compared on websites if the German one isn't either a lot better or a lot worse than the American or British ones. |

Hopefully Sony reissues this at some point on region A bluray with the correct transfer. I'm not sure if it's even still possible, but I would also love to see an unrated version with all the uncut head shots reinserted as well. It would probably take one of the specialty labels to make something like that happen though.
