April. Like I said I know others placed their orders way before and still haven't received theirs but for me it's taking long enough. I saw a couple posts say that it took about 2 weeks AFTER it shipped to get them. That's just crazy because who knows how long it'll take to even ship. I mean I'm no expert on ordering online as I prefer shopping at stores. But I've never had an order take longer than 2 weeks to get here. Just the fact alone that there are orders even older than mine makes me wonder if I'll ever receive it.

I placed my order on April 17th. I haven't received any emails but my card was charged on the 18th and when I check my account on the JB website, the order is listed as Shipped.

I watched the Umbrella release of 1990 and thought it was decent. There is some print damage and clearly clean up was not done on this master. But it does improve after the first 10-15 minutes or so. It does not look like a new transfer for sure and there does appear to be a bit of EE and maybe some dnr. I watched the special features and the interview with Tom Savini has clips from the Twilight Time version and it is clearly a newer master that has more details and is more film like, BUT that horrible blue tint just ruins the whole presentation. How anybody could watch that mess is beyond me. Umbrella release for the win in this case.

It was very interesting hearing Tom talk about what got cut and shots he wanted to include in the film that they didn't get to shoot for budget reasons. I would love to see the version he wanted to make. I do enjoy what we got though.

I was able to order the LE before it sold out. For some reason it showed as $33.47 as the total. And it still says that when I look at my order status. But they only charged $26 on my card. Not sure what's up with that.

Are you sure you didn't factor in the conversion rate and weren't looking at the total in USD?

I did have it changed to US dollars. It still says $33.47 on my order status. But like I said my card was only charged $26.

Well I had no idea. Because I could have sworn it gave me a different total amount before I changed the option to US dollars. Either way, I'm not complaining lol. Now, how long it's taking to get here, that's another issue...
